URGENT - Help Needed At Club This Weekend

Seniors and Open registration will be held at the Newmarket Legion (707 Srigley Street) on September 16th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The Seniors' Wine and Cheese get-together has been cancelled as the lounge will not be ready on time.

Get involved in YOUR curling club – VOLUNTEER at YCC!

As always, many of the same people volunteer frequently at York Curling Club. We are looking for new faces and talents!!
There are many different opportunities available and we would love to have you come out. From special events to various committees, there’s always someone needed.

Rock Sponsorship!

With the curling season almost upon us and the excitement of our “new” larger Club, York members have the opportunity to permanently record their membership at YCC. Rock handles are for sale to the membership as part of our ongoing fundraising activities. If you wish to have you or your family’s name engraved on one of our rocks please contact JoAnn Inouye (manager@yorkcurlngclub.ca or 905-898-7965). The cost is $150.00.

Putt N Sweep Cancelled
The Putt and Sweep will not be held this year. Our renovation schedule is tight and there is a possibility that the lounge and ice will not be totally ready for that date.

Registration Forms Now Available for 2010/2011 Season at York Curling Club

Registration forms for the next curling season have been emailed or mailed to last season's members and new curlers who have expressed interest in joining YCC.

New Curlers Welcome!
With the expansion of our curling club this summer, we will now have capacity to welcome new members to our club. New or experienced curlers are welcome.

York Curling Club offers its members:

A fun and affordable winter recreational activity for all ages (starting at age 6) and skill levels
Training for new and experienced curlers
A friendly, social atmosphere
In club bonspiels as well as other social events
Competitive and social leagues including Men's, Ladies' and Mixed curling as well as Junior and Senior leagues
