The York Curling Club, located in the heart of Newmarket, has been a landmark community recreation structure for over 50 years. Our primary function is to support one of the busiest curling clubs in the province with more than 34 weekly leagues, rentals and events. We have also played host to such events as the Town Council Challenge between the Town of Aurora and the Town of Newmarket and the Ontario Curling Association Regional and Provincial Play-downs.

These events in combination with such summer activities as the York Shuffleboard Club, the Sea Cadets, Trade Shows and teh Newmarekt Citizens' Band, as well as hosting several other key functions throughout the year, results in more that 40,000 visits by club members and community supporters. Our website attracts 3,000 visits each month and offers an additional medium for reaching potential customers or clients.

This season will be perhaps the most exciting in our history! Over the summer months York will undergo a major expansion which will add two sheets to our existing four sheets of ice. This will allow the Club to welcome more members, more opportunity for rentals and the chance to host larger curling association events. As a result, your advertising dollars will go further. Your promotional ads and material will reach a larger cross section of the community!

1. In-ice logo (“Button”) – 18 inch circle in the centre if the “House”, embedded in ice surface during the curling season (October to April).

2. In-ice logo (“Hogline”) – 3 ft. x 2 ft. embedded in ice surface during the curling season (October to April).

3. On-ice wall sign – 4 ft. x 3 ft. Cora plastic or Scoreboard 2 ft. x 2 ft. magnetic.

4. Member's Curling Event Calendar distributed to all members (approximately 600) in September.

5. Complimentary ice time includes curling instructions and equipment.

6. Website at www.yorkcurlingclub.ca provides the public with touch-of-a-button information on all aspects of our club. League scheduling and standings are posted for member access along with calendar, events and bonspiels.
   
   Sponsor ads are displayed on the Sponsors page on the site. Platinum, Gold and Silver level sponsors are also included on a sponsor banner that is placed on high traffic pages to provide additional exposure.
   
   Provide electronic copies (GIF, JPG format) of brief text, logos and other graphics for website link graphics. We suggest including a link to your company website. We do not suggest including email links as these can be abused by SPAM generators. This information can be submitted by email or on a CD.

7. Cost of signs is responsibility of sponsor and is a one-time fee (unless changes are required).

8. All sponsorship is renewable annually.
